Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order or using this website. By accessing prolina.ae or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

1. About Us

Prolina FZ-LLC is a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, operating from Biodome 10, The Sustainable City, Dubai, UAE. We are the UAE's only cultivator and direct supplier of fresh (living) spirulina to consumers.

2. Products

Prolina supplies fresh, living spirulina — a raw food product, cultivated daily at our Dubai facility. All products are food supplements and are not a medicine, drug, or medical treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or have an existing medical condition.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Exact colour and texture may vary slightly between batches due to the natural cultivation process.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED).
Prices are inclusive of 5% UAE VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time. Any price change will be communicated before it affects your active subscription.
Payment methods accepted are displayed at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by our payment gateway provider. We do not store card numbers.
Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment authorisation.

4. Subscriptions

Subscription plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method.
You may cancel, pause, or modify your subscription at any time through My Account.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a paid period.
A minimum of one fulfilled delivery is required before cancellation, to cover cultivation and preparation costs.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a subscription if payment cannot be collected after two attempts. We will notify you before any cancellation.

5. Delivery

We currently deliver within the UAE mainland only.
Estimated delivery time is 1–3 business days after order confirmation.
Fresh spirulina is a perishable product requiring refrigeration. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order. We cannot leave fresh orders unattended in warm or unsecured locations.
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we will make one re-delivery attempt. If the second attempt fails, the order will be deemed undeliverable and a refund (minus the delivery fee) will be issued.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, weather, or factors outside our control.

6. Returns & Refunds

As fresh spirulina is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns once the order has been delivered, in accordance with UAE consumer health and safety regulations for fresh food.

However, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund in the following cases:

The product was delivered in damaged or compromised condition.
You received an incorrect order.
There is a demonstrable quality issue with the product.

To initiate a claim, you must contact us at hello@prolina.ae within 24 hours of delivery, including your order number and photographic evidence. Late claims cannot be accepted for fresh food products.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its executive regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, brand assets, videos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Prolina FZ-LLC and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Prolina FZ-LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order to which the claim relates.

10. Website Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, to interfere with the site's operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We will provide 7 days' notice by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai, UAE.
